The Nebraska Food Assistance (SNAP) - Food Stamps is an initiative by the state of Nebraska and the US federal government aimed at eradicating hunger and promoting proper nutrition in the state. In the case of disabled individuals income eligibility calculations are based on the net and not the gross income.
Employment Eligibility Requirements
In order to be eligible for the Nebraska Food Assistance (SNAP) - Food Stamps program, applicants need to meet the specified employment requirements. These requirements are that able-bodied individuals between the ages of 16 and 60 should register for work, be ready and willing to accept employment and should participate in an employment training program specified by his or her local office.
